Burger Overload!

Another quick week went past without too much excitement.  We waited the whole week for Sunday when we could spend some time with my brother in law.  He was supposed to arrive in Hyderabad for two weeks on Sunday morning but unfortunately there was some aircraft problems and his departure was delayed by a day.  We really did look forward in spending the afternoon with him but that will just have to wait till next weekend as this is a business trip and weekdays will be busy.

On Saturday we could not hold our craving for fast junk food any longer.  On Saturday afternoon we popped into KFC for a Chicken Zinger Burger and later that evening met up with some friends at News Cafe for a good old Beef Cheese Burger.  News Cafe imports their beef and the burgers are pretty good.  This was only my second beef burger since we arrived in Hyderabad so I am holding out pretty good.

On Sunday we slept until reasonably late, due to a late (very) night at News Cafe, and went for a drive on Sunday afternoon.  Our driver took us to one of two Baobab Trees in Hyderabad, this Baobab tree is located next to Golkonda Fort.  In one of my previous entries I wrote about a trip we had to the Fort, it was build between 1364 and 1512.  The tree stands next to an Islam Mosque that was build in 1569.

For Sunday dinner we made our last burgers for our burger crazy weekend.  I made some KFC (Kobus Fried Chicken) with skinless boneless chicken breasts and used that for our Sunday dinner chicken pineapple cheese burgers.  I prepared the chicken and Teresa was in charge of putting everything together.  This should take care of our burger cravings for the next couple of months.
