It is all about Bacon, Eggs and Toast!!

What happened to the week?  Seriously, this was not a bad week.  Looking back to it I can't remember to much.  Oh yes, we started our exercise routine.  We started of Monday on the exercise bikes and on Tuesday and the rest of the week we decided to try some Badminton and loved it.  Who would have thought that hitting that little white thing around would be such a workout.  Unfortunately we arrived at the courts to late on Saturday and there was to many people at the courts.  As it turned out it was not a bad thing, we started doing some serious house cleaning and that was a workout on its own.  These marble floors are not that fun washing!!!  On Sunday we decided to take our Table Tennis set with just in case the Badminton courts were busy.  It was so we played Table tennis for a hour, not that great workout but it was fun.

This past week had another first for us, we got to pay our first bills.  Rent, cell phones, home phone + broadband Internet and utilities.  Gas was very cheap but electricity was a little expensive.  Our home phone + broadband internet was not that easy to pay, they kept on calling us threatening to cut the line because our payment is late.  The only reason for the late payment was that we did not receive a bill and then try to explain that to them.  Eventually we found out that the account was not on our name and it took them at least a week to change that.  Unfortunately it is still not correct but at  least the bill is paid.  We will see how it goes next month, interesting times!!

The rest of the Saturday was a nice fun relaxing day with Teresa, we watch three movies we bought on Friday.  We watched Tooth Fairy, Doomsday and the new Sherlock Holmes.  Tooth Fairy was ok, not bad and Sherlock Holmes was a surprising difference from the usual Sherlock Holmes movies we got used to.  Doomsday was your typical flesh eating end of the world type movie, nothing to write home about but it gets the time by.

Sunday after some Table Tennis and the best breakfast we had in a long, long time we decided to make a trip to the SPAR again.  Teresa got some oranges again imported from South Africa.  Except for the oranges we did not get anything spectacular.  The breakfast was great, we got some bacon at HyperCity the Friday morning and made some bacon, eggs and toast.    That went down well with some Ceres Fruit juice that is widely available here at a very decent price.

We went a little crazy with the camera so enjoy all the pictures, some of them are from breakfast and the rest was taken Sunday on the way to SPAR.

The toaster oven is the latest addition to the kitchen.  We wanted to buy a toaster but this was the same price

Hungry yet??

Yip, it was that good!

I haven't seen any Harley's around but they are available.

Well, who needs a toilet when you have a perfectly good wall available.  This is very common all over.

Just like the traffic lights around this sign is also ignored or not noticed.

Teresa prepared some nice snacks for us on Sunday evening. Crackers, Kalamata Olive, Peppadew's, Gouda Cheese, Brie Cheese and Cumin Gouda Cheese.
Well, until next week!
